MassCONECT4Kids/Breathe Free for Kids


Promoting Smoke-Free Homes utilizing Community-based Participatriy Research (CBPR) approaches to implement and study a community-based intervention that seeks to reduce secondhand smoke (SHS) exposure in the homes of children in Boston, Lawrence and Worcester. The goal of this CBPR project is to create smoke-free homes by integrated trained community-based health care workers into state health department-sponsored Early Intervention Home Visiting Programs, Health Families Home Visiting Program and self referrals from the public at large for high-risk children.
